I just installed kubuntu 13.10, 32 bit version, and the window focus is laggy.
I have it set to focus follows mouse (interesting new configuration setup for that, I'm not sure if it is more options, less options, or more complicated) and when I move the mouse into a different window to make it active, there is a 4 step process that seems to take a long time.
Awesome works fine on Fedora 19, so it should work on CentOS 7, right? Well, I tried and failed to get it to work. After a long time, I managed to compile it from source and set GDM to boot from an ~/.xinitrc. However, all I got was the window manager starting but none of the keybinds (keyboard or mouse) were working at all.
I am looking for a usable step by step installation procedure.
PekWM offers an additional solution: window grouping. It allows a variety of different applications to be grouped together in a single window. Most everyone is familiar with tabbed browsing by now. Window grouping takes this one step further.
