Hi there,
I am sure that my 3D graphic system is not working because every time I start VMplayer (virtual machine) it states that ' This computer doesn't have a 3D graphic system supported by VMware player'
Hello all,
I have two completely different systems running Ubuntu 11.04.
Firefox version is 10.0.2
When I first open Firefox for regular browsing, it is fast without any problems.
However, after maybe an hour or so of use and opening/closing tabs here and there, Firefox gets slower.
"Your system currently is not capable of hardware accelerated 3D." stupid error. anyway i finally installed fedora 11 and thought i had everything working and then i go to play a game and.. "Your system currently is not capable of hardware accelerated 3D" in ubuntu it had an alert that installed the correct graphics driver and everything was fine but fedora doesn't do that.
Hi,
i recently got an Asus laptop with intel core i3-350m and hence the integrated (on cpu) intel graphics.
it was a real nightmare for me to even install opensuse 11.2 as i would get the black screen when X is about to start, until i managed to set the video driver to vesa.
It's that good ol' time again: Fedora 18 Graphics Test Week is here.
It all kicks off tomorrow (or today, depending on your timezone) - Tuesday 2012-09-25, with Nouveau (NVIDIA) Test Day.
Hello,
just upgraded my system to Fedora 17 in the hope of getting Gnome Shell through software rendering. I failed, the system goes to fall back mode.
i have intel dg41rq motherboard and using 9.04 jaunty.i am not a complete newbie.
i am facing a bit difficulty to activate visual effects.
you can have a look at this...
Gathering information about your system...
Distribution: Ubuntu 9.04
Desktop environment: GNOME
My laptop uses a hybrid graphics hardware.
Using the vgaswitcheroo I am able to power off either card and switch between them correctly.
The issue is that the system wakes up/resumes from suspend correctly only when using the discrete graphics, or atleast the discrete graphics must be powered on even if the display is connected to the onboard intel card.
Has anyone faced this issues?
about Ubuntu 12.04, but possibly affecting more.
after some updates of middle of last week, xserver-xorg-video-intel frequently causes crash of xorg, such that keyboard doesnt work, only the mouse cursor can be moved around.
