These are groups used for coding or other tasks where I just want to see a bunch of terminals. The system allows me to have a separate group for each project or task. Each group has: * A name * A default working directory The system provides three operations that I use directly: * Switch directly to the current development group (F2) * Choose a different current development group (or create a new one) via dmenu (F11) * Open a new terminal in the default working directory of the current development group (Ctrl+Alt+d) This system keeps the windows I use for one project from getting in the way of others, so I can keep all my projects open all the time. Also, being able to create a new terminal in the project's directory saves a lot of time. The scripts that make this possible are: * [[User:ktvoelker/dirterm|dirterm]] * [[User:ktvoelker/musca_add_devel|musca_add_devel]] * [[User:ktvoelker/musca_devel_menu|musca_devel_menu]] * [[User:ktvoelker/musca_restore_devel|musca_restore_devel]] * [[User:ktvoelker/musca_startup|musca_startup]] * [[User:ktvoelker/musca_use_devel|musca_use_devel]] (Software)
