Hi,
I've done battery pull thousands of times, never an issue. Today, I hit shut down first, and pulled the battery before it's properly shut down, the device was then immediately soft bricked. I didn't know it was possible to brick a device by pulling battery...Is it really soft bricked? Could it be something else?
Now it's stuck at Samsung logo bootloop. Recovery Mode still works.
I decided to upgrade from 2.2 to 2.3.5 In the middle of my upgrade my computer freaked out and rebooted. At first I tried to flash back to 2.1 with the Odin3 1 click. It repeatedly hung up in the same place, kept trying eventually ended up with a phone that will do nothing.
I rooted my thunderbolt and I just decided to plug the usb (connected to the computer) into the phone and it just started lagging randomly. It got to the point where it was unresponsive so I just decided to pull the battery out.
Then I put the battery back in, and the phone wouldn't turn on. I tried power button and volume down button to get into the hboot menu but still wouldn't turn on.
My lg thrive was working fine my battery died so I plugged in the charger as usual but a yellow screen popped up saying emergency mode in italics !! This has happened before not sure how it fixed but Ithis time I just reset my phone by holding power home and volume down and when I plugged my phone in the charger or turn it on my phone just freezes on start up (the g logo ).
Help people, I have the nexus 4 for over 3 weeks and great but a few days ago when it was nearly full battery (around 80% or so) suddenly shutted down and I couldn't turn it back on until after 1 min or so plugging in. I did not care about it the first time ...
I had purchased a new battery for my phone which didn't fit 100% so when I turned on my phone with it in the contacts became loose while it was booting up and it shut down.
Ever since this my Nexus S i9020 has become a total brick...
Unfortunately water splashed inside my bookbag where my Samsung galaxy nexus was stored. I didn't pull the battery out in time and although I waited a while to put the battery back in, when I did, the power button doesn't do anything to turn the phone back on. I sent it back to samsung for warranty repair and they sent it back with a "Beyond Economical Repair" notice .
Hi,
Got my S4 yesterday. All seemed to be working OK until this morning. I charged it up to 100% and then the screen wouldn't turn on, either by the power button or the home button.
There was a blue light flashing at the top so the phone wasn't completely dead.
Hey guys, I have a softbricked Atrix2, I tried making a factory cable the other night, wired it correctly as far as I know, it turned on straight away without a battery into fastboot, but wouldn't recognize that a usb cable was plugged in (So power, but no data). And when I plugged in a normal usb cable with the battery in the phone still wouldn't recognize that a usb cable was plugged in.
