Will I be able to use the optional USB adapter and plug in my Verizon 4G LTE usb modem with this tablet? Would I be able to install VZaccess and get a connection?

I have a "Symphony SY 5210S" modem with "Conexant" chipset.
I use linux Mint 17 on my PC and modem is connected to PC with USB cable. When I login to the OS (modem is ON and all lights are GREEN), System doesn't recognize the modem but when I Plug out USB cable and then plug it in, I will receive "Wired Connection Connected" message.
I have a Verizon USB modem. Is there an android tablet I can buy that will work with my USB modem? I would rather not get an embedded 3G/4G tablet. I want the functionality to be able to use the USB modem in my current Windows laptops as well.
I have a Linksys WRT54GS router flashed with DD-WRT that I'm trying to get a connection on behind a Cisco DPC3010 cable modem. I can get a connection just fine when I plug my computer in directly into the modem, but when I plug the router into the modem, it refuses to deal the router an IP.
I have a D-link DIR-600 router and a TP-Link TD-8816 (ver 6.0) modem.
I had them configured to modem on bridge and router on PPPoE for a long time, they worked fine.
Today I woke up to no internet connection. After a bit of looking around, I realized that the LAN LED on the modem wasn't lit up anymore.
If I plug my modem <- ethernet -> pc's ethernet, it works.
I wanted to try the matching modem so with odin I flashed the modem.bin (since I am on the old bootloader) and I have lost my 3G/LTE connection completely. It just won't connect. I've flash modems like this a lot of times and never had this issue.
when I plug in my usb 3G modem it takes ages until de unblock device screen comes up, sometimes I need to plug and unplug several times and the hole process may take 10 minutes. Is there a way to force the unblock dialog to screen? Or at least a way to show 3G connection in network tray icon even if modem is not yet unblocked?
I had asked similar question here. But instead of reviving it, I thought I would post a new question with additional details. The issue is establishing broadband connection initially. I have a DSL DLink 502T modem which I have been using for long. But now a days, I am having issues while establishing connection. The modem takes several restarts, to establish a broadband connection.
