URL restrictions on new members

http://www.linuxforums.org – Posting URL's Can anything be done to refine the restriction on new members posting threads containing URL's? I understand why the restriction exists, but I wanted to share a neat script I made and because it has wget features in it, I can't post it even if it is contained in a code block. (HowTos)

I figured out a hack to get "night-mode" to work in Chainfire 3D on a galaxy Tab 8.9. I just want to post the fix to the forum so someone else doesn't spend 8 hours messing around with stuff to figure it out.

Rather than setting logon time restrictions on each user account, we would like to apply it via group policy to a security group. Is this possible?

Note that I am asking to set the restriction times in one location for many users, not for the policy setting that enables the enforcement of the restriction times.

I made a script with 5 lines, each a wget statement:

Code: wget -c http://... wget -c http://... wget -c http://... wget -c http://... wget -c http://... And ran it.

^ That argument is specifically about SEO and the need to find data that is relevant and has little to do with policies on necro posting.  We are here to serve the members of our community first.

I read all the pam_time.so threds and I manage to do simple user login-time restrictions. But when it come to root it just do not work. I know that there is a lot of documentation but that is a functionality I need as soon as posible. In final I need a simple explanation on how to make login-time restriction on root acount.
