I have uploaded 4 movies so far to Ubuntu One to share with a friend. 2 uploaded and showed in the cloud and 2 did not. I watched the progress in a terminal and it showed the upload complete but my cloud says I still have 5 GB of storage and 0 percent used. Anyone know how to fix this?
I tried to upload 1.7 GB file to Ubuntu One. After uploading, nothing is on the cloud? I tried from web browser and with sync via folder. It works, but then nothing is on the cloud. Smaller files works fine.
I don't wish to do drive encryption or certain folders, more just into encrypting single files or sets of files for upload to cloud storage (whether it be Ubuntu One or another cloud site) - HOWEVER, I am very much a beginner when it comes to encryption methods and tools, so help on the subject would be appreciated it and easy ways to encrypt just certain files and folders so I can back them up/up
I'm trying to upload an 81MB and another 505MB file to my ubuntu one account. The tiny little scroll-bar that pops up on the web-browser's screen is of no use. it merely tells me to wait. i have no idea how much has been uploaded, what's the speed, how much more time is estimated to complete this.
My professor is an editor of a college magazine where article authors are sending him their works via email. Such way of working is too complex and he often gets lost who sent what and which version. He is now looking for a simpler cloud-based storage where all of them can upload their works.
