Upgrading ram on Tablets?

http://androidforums.com – I've recently bought a generic chinese tablet, it says it uses DDR3 ram, I've got a few 1gb DDR3's laying around my room and was wondering if it was possible to do that upgrade? I would try it now but I don't know how to take the case off of this damn thing ._. when I figure it out I'm going to try it and I'll update this thread. But my question is umm, has anyone here ever upgraded the ram on their tablets? If you have was it difficult? did you have to be a specific type of ram? did it make it any better? Hopefully I get some replies. :p (General)

Hi, with the ICS upgrade, some tablets such as ASUS transformer got problems of random rebooting, freezing, unusual battery drain... Could any one who own other tablets tell me whether your tablets got problems after ICS upgrade? I am looking for a tablet that would be stable against ICS upgrade. Thanks!

  The last few weeks has been quite a nail-biter for owners of various ASUS-branded tablets. While ASUS manufactures the mouthwatering Jelly Bean-powered Nexus 7 tablet, immediate speculation came regarding ASUS’ existing tablets and whether or not they too would get some Android 4.1 lovin’ too.

Italian vendor Ekoore announced three tablets with capacitive multitouch displays -- two Atom-based tablets that run Ubuntu 11.04 or Windows 7, and an ARM-based tablet running Android 2.3.

I'm new to the world of Android after having been on iOS for the past few years and have a question that everyone seems to have different opinions on from googling the question!

We've bought our children Android tablets for Xmas (yes I know its ages away!) and was wondering if there is any way for us to be able to download the apps only once and for them to sync to the other

Just like the competing manufacturers in the smartphone market, the tablet market seems just as fierce. Recently statistics showed that iPad devices control a whopping 52% of the market share out of all tablets!  Keep in mind that there are a lot of other tablet manufacturers that make up the other 48%.
