http://www.talkandroid.com – In the database of products maintained by the Indonesian Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, keen-eyed monitors discovered a new model number for a Sony Xperia smartphone. The name listed in the database is for a Sony Xperia SL and carries a model number of LT26ii. This can be contrasted with a Sony Xperia S which carries the model number LT26i in the same database. Some are speculating the very minor differences in the model names and numbers are a sign that the new item is an upgrade to the Xperia S. The question is whether it is really an upgrade with better hardware or (IT news)

By now we all know that the Sony Xperia GX (SO-04D), that is getting ready to release in Japan very soon, will be making an international release under the Sony LT29i model number and is codenamed, “Hayabusa”. The phone looks almost identical to the Sony Xperia GX with only a few signs that the device is different.

The Sony Xperia T just came out, but you know Sony is already hard at work on their next flagship (and probably the one after that). A leaked user agent profile has revealed a phone codenamed Odin with a few model numbers; C6502, C6503, and C6506. That last number being the only different number could point towards regional variations.

As we reported earlier, an upgraded version of the Sony Xperia S appears to be on the way. Sources indicate the device, an LT26ii listed as a Sony Xperia SL, will run on an overclocked 1.7GHz Snapdragon S3 chip. The image that has surfaced shows the device in pink and in blue/violet. This is the second pink Xperia that has been spotted this week.
