I am trying to connect the Moto G Mobile to Eclipse in My Windows 7 32-bit machine but It does n't show on the devices List. For this, First I connected the device to machine via USB cable and then I Choose the PTP mode and then I checked the "USB debuging" option in devices settings. after few seconds it says "Drivers was installed Unsuccessfully".
I have a nexus 4 and a window 7 pc. Windows will not install drivers for this device. On the Device Manager it shows up as an error (yellow ?)
Where can i find win 7 drivers for this device and how do I install these drivers?
Windows update does not find any drivers when it does a search of it's Microsoft database.
12.04LTS. HP K80 printer. device shows up both in lsusb and in the "discovered devices" in the HP Device Manager. I ran the device manager under gksudo, same results. The GUI app sees the device ("1 device found") but then its tells me "unable to communicate with the device.
I tried everything, downloaded new adb , new cable, I tried win 8 and win 7 but nothing usb drivers and adb drivers are installed correctly , in device manager I see my usb driver (not yellow one)

Using Android Device Manager from my PC, several devices are listed, including one that no longer belongs to me. While attempting to remove this device from my list I inadvertently sent an 'Erase' command to the other devices. Fortunately, none of these devices had Android Device Manager enabled as a device manager, so the request was ignored. Phew!
I'm using osx as a host and running windows 7 virtually. I originally had version 4.1.6 and when I plugged in usb devices it did not show up in the device manager, however it would prompt me that the drivers could not be installed. I now installed 4.1.8 with the oracle extension and got a better result.
