I'm trying to install PHP5, by compiling it myself.
I'm doing this on Crunchbang Linux, version 11. Specifically, the version using the 3.2 kernel. Crunchbang 11 is based on Debian. This is a 64-bit Virtual machine, running on a 64-bit Win7 Professional.
I`ve had the same issues with Waldorf on kernel 184.108.40.206 and 220.127.116.11. You may troubleshoot, but if you don`t get it to work, then install Waldorf and upgrade the kernel to anything within the 3.5-3.6 kernels, but DO NOT install the latest 3.7-3.8 kernels. They cause other issues.
