:: Replace kdebindings-pykde4 with desktop/kdebindings-python2?
i'm a happy 6.4 user, but got some problems running pyqt4 on it.
i installed all pyqt4 packages.
but when i run from PyQt4.QtCore import *, i got the following
>>> from PyQt4.QtCore import *
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module>
I have python 2.7 and just installed 3.2 (on 11.04) from the repos, anyone know what happens when I install PyQt4? (it's installed and working from the repos for 2.7).
I downloaded the latest version of sip/pyqt4 and the message from .configure indicated it was going to put some stuff in /usr/bin (and some in a python3.2 directory). I'm worried it would overwrite some 2.7 stuff.
i recently installed Pycharm3.0 professional. I want to use it for development of PyQt4 projects.. I'm little bit confused about setting up this. I'm using Debian Wheezy.
I've already installed PyQt4 with proper instaructions from riverbankcomputing n able to run PyQt pograms.
The place where I work, are trying to put a process around versioning of a custom developed application using an open source product. Its a web application running PHP/MySQL.
We are currently using SVN for source control and I am administering it.
But we have not been able to successfully use SVN as version control.
Sorry for reviving the thread but I'm having the same exact error with several applications.Tried re-installing pyqt4-common, python2-pyqt4 and python-pyqt to no avail.Anyone has some idea to what could be causing this issue and how to solve it?Regards
