Not too long ago, we heard about an upcoming new device from HTC, dubbed the Zara. Now, we’re hearing about a smaller version of the Zara… being called the Zara Mini. The device passed through the Chinese FCC equivalent with the model number HTC 301e, and it is considerably less powerful than the HTC Zara, with a 480 x 800 4.3 inch screen and 512 MB of RAM.
Details and a press render of the upcoming HTC smartphone codenamed Zara have been found. The HTC Zara features a dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon chip, and will run HTC Sense 5.5 over Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.
The folks over at AndroidNext.de have obtained some leaked pics of the upcoming HTC One Mini, as well as some screenshots. According to their information, the new device will feature a 4MP UltraPixel camera (same as HTC One), as well as a 1.6MP front-shooter.
Last month we heard about the HTC Zara, which will be another mid-range device. Taking cues from the HTC One, it looks gorgeous.We already reported the rumored specs last month, but things are a little different today.
It was previously thought to have a 4.7-inch (960 x 540) display, but it’s now rumored to be 4.5-inches with the same resolution.
Sony Mobile is working on yet another smartphone with 720p HD display and dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon mobile processor. Codenamed as Xperia Mint, the smartphone will feature a 13 megapixel camera and may be branded as Xperia T.
With rumors circulating that HTC may be looking at an update to the HTC One that includes a plastic body, the name “Zara” has surfaced as a plastic-bodied device. The new name surfaced when HTC indicated they were planning to release some new models during Q3 2013, including the T6 and the Zara.
