Hey all...
So I just installed StormDroid 1.2 on my LG Ally.
I'll probably be upgrading at the end of the month. Ally has served me well but the battery is getting tired and dying quicker than before and just general wear and tear.
I'll have to see what the total device upgrade + loyalty discount will get me when it kicks in, probably won't have a lot of cash to spend on top of the discounts so I have to see what falls between Free -to- $99.
I have an Htc Evo 4g it is running on original stock rom gingerbread 2.3.3 and i am trying to unroot it. It is rooted to Revolutionary and it has clockwork installed. I am trying to unroot because it has sooooo many problems, and it wont let me receive calls sometimes, it is very slow, and i just want to take it off my phone that i can bring it back to sprint for the vibration problem.
So i needed to take my evo in for service and decided it would be a good idea to unroot first... I followed a post on this forum for unrooting revolutionary but i was having difficulty finding working links to the necessary files. Anyway, i eventually found what i needed but was unsure about the re-rootability(??) of my phone after the fact based on the hboot and radio.
My sister-in-law has an old school RAZR and my wife has her old Ally that she's not using. Is it possible to flash the Ally to T-Mobile? My wife would like to give her old phone to her sister.
My TB is over a year old, got it on launch. Cracked screen, Can't figure out why it won't fully charge.
Have insurance and nothing good is coming out soon. I can unroot but what is the replacement phones like?

Has anyone tried this?

ok i rooted my phone a few days ago and flashed sky ice cream. i backed up the stock rom (2.3.5). i tried restoring the stock rom and its says the md5 file is missing. so i decided to unroot my phone and restore it back to stock rom using odin and sgh-i727-uck j2-k0nane.tar. the unrooting was successful however my phone is still using the sky ice cream rom.
