Is their anybody out there who can help me or knows why i dont get a notification icon/unread count that shows up above my messaging app on CM9 when i have an unread text message. And its not only text messages its phone calls and emails too. Sorry if this has been brought up before. I searched the forums but cant seem to find anything related.
Help please!
I still have an unread message icon with the number 1. It's driving me insane. I've cleared message data and still nothing. Stock app. Help!

I've added shortcuts for multiple email accounts onto the homescreen, however when I get new email it doesn't show which account has unread messages.
For example, the attached image shows 3 unread messages in the unified inbox, but there's no quick breakdown if there's # unread messages in inbox 1, inbox 2, or inbox 3.

Currently have 2 email accounts setup and I've turned off the notification on each account, as well as the General settings. But the unread message count still persists.
I would like to know how to eliminate the unread message count on the email icon and just have it appear as is.

My gmail app keeps giving me new e-mail notifications every time the number of unread items in my inbox changes. So say I have 4 unread message in my inbox, and I already cleared my gmail notification for the newest 4th e-mail, and say I go and read one of them on my laptop, so now I have 3 unread messages.
I'm having trouble figuring out how to repeat notification sounds over and over.
I can get it to do once or repeat over and over, but I'm having trouble figuring out how to only do it while the notification exists. For example I only wanted to do it until the notification has been cleared.
So i need to know how to check if am unread notification exists then i can play a sound.
Anyone havin issues wit tha notification bar, my notifications aren't expanded I have to expand em manually and my Google play only shows pause and skip forward no rewind new phone by that way

[FONT="Georgia"]Hello to all;I am a newbie to this site and I have a question and am not sure how to search the threads to see if anyone else has had the same issue I am currently having.
I have the Samsung Galaxy S3 and I cannot get my text message notifications to make a sound.
My s3 is totally stock. But for some reason everytime I receive a text message my phone makes two different alert tones. It also shows I still have an unread text in the notification pull done screen. How do I stop it from notifying me twice?
