Hey, I am very happy I was able to KEEP unlimited data on two phones when I upgraded last friday. The wife and I went in to get new gs3 and thought we were going to loose the unlimited data plan. Turns out the guy helping us said we could keep unlimited if we got another line and swap. Im not sure how he did it, but something like this..
My wife has the iPhone 4S with unlimited data. I jumped into the smartphone world late in the game and never got unlimited data.
Anyways, my question is, when my wife upgrades to a 4G phone, will she be able to keep unlimited data?
When I went from a 3G phone to 4G, Verizon told me I had to get a 4G data plan.
Hi all,
I have two lines with unlimited data, one of which is mine which we'll call "unlimited", and want to use the other line's upgrade, which we'll call "forfeit", for a Note 2 and swap it to the "unlimited" line to keep my unlimited data. I also want to "downgrade" the upgraded line to a dumbphone line without the data plan.
Ok so we went to a Verizon premium seller and one of the works told us about this way of keeping unlimited data, I just wanted to see if this was possible or not. So she is on a family plan with 5 phones, So the worker told us that she could use one of the upgrades on the account.
Hey guys this has probably been asked a ton, but wanting to check before I go into a store.
I have decided to upgrade my Razr Maxx to a Samsung GNote 2. I had a problem with my Nexus but hope Samsung's note 2 has resolved these issues. Mainly battery and signal.
Anyway my wife and I are on the 700 min/unlimited texts.....me unlimited data and my wife has 2 GB data.
I'm thinking about doing it. The only question I have is once I do the AOL and have the unlimited line under my plan, can I drop my limited data line and port my number over to the unlimited line?

I know with Verizon you can do an AOL and unlimited data will transfer.
I have an AT&T 4 line family plan each line having unlimited data. My understanding is doing an AOL with AT&T doesn't work like Verizon, unlimited data won't transfer.
However I've heard it can be done although it's difficult unless you know somebody, is this true?
I want to have an SamSung Galaxy S3 unlocked phone. So that I can use it for an unlimited data plan. I'm thinking either Straight Talk or Virgins Mobile USA Unlimited for 35.00 a month.
I live in Everett WA.
My only question is based on those companies and the plan I want, and where I live and the phone I want, which phone is best for me?
I am eligible for an upgrade but I don't want SGS3. I want Droid razr hd. I am currently using the maxx and I am completely satisfied. With the rumored data change coming soon, I am worried that the razr hd upgrade will take my unlimited data away. I'm thinking about buying sgs3 with a new contact and selling it and save the money to buy the razr hd strait out.
