I assume that if I select for a specific folder not to be synced with my computer anymore I will be able to delete that folder from my dropbox folder(on my computer) without worry of it being deleted from my dropbox account?
I have an officePC (ubuntu 12.04 LTS) which I access from homePC (ubuntu 12.04 LTS) through ssh and I change some remote files in a dropbox folder, but the local dropbox folder doesnt mirror the changes.
Hey guys, I'm on a new install, and I'm trying to get Dropbox working (it has my workspace folder for eclipse in it, among other things!)I tried following the wiki guide and some forum posts, but I'm having some trouble. Here's my error when I try to run it:dropbox start
Starting Dropbox.../home/user/.dropbox-dist/dropboxd: 10: exec: /home/user/.dropbox-dist/dropbox: not found
whenever I start my computer, dropbox does not automatically start itself aswell. Furthermore, when I try to start it using the program launcher, nothing happens. I then tried the command line (dropbox status), which gives: Dropbox isn't running!
Naturally I want to start it using the command dropbox start, which returns:
Dropbox isn't running!
Dropbox is already running!
