Hello,I'm benchmarking XFWM4 vs. Openbox as a Windows Manger on my XFCE setup with unigine-heaven. I have disabled vsync in nvidia-settings and in unigine-heaven and get72 FPS max with XFWM4 (no matter if compositing is enable or disable in the xfce settings) resulting in 827 points at the end of the run.
Unigine is a cross platform, real time 3D game engine. The engine is capable of producing advanced realistic 3D effects and game physics.
Oil Rush, the first game to based on Unigine is quite popular and it runs really well on Linux.
Oil Rush, one of the best looking games build so far on the Unigine engine and one of the most pleasant Linux surprises, can be bought now with a 50% discount.Oil Rush is a mix of strategy and tower defence, combined in such a way that it practically has no rival.
Now by executable CD I mean a disk that usually would run and install a program but for some reason isn't. I would particularly like to know how to install it from the command line (terminal). Please do help. The program on the CD is an .iso file.
Could someone explain to me in the simplest way possible how to install a program from a .tar.bz2 file? I've looked this up and went through numerous tutorials but couldn't get it to work at all.
