Hi all,
It seems as if I have lost my charging adapter somewhere. I still have the USB cable part of the charger, but the block that plugs into the wall is missing. I tried to simply plug in the usb cable to one of my phone wall adapters, but that didn't work. Any idea of a replacement besides buying the $35 ASUS cable/adapter combo?
I installed Ubuntu 9.10 on my desktop computer yesterday and I followed this guide to install the drivers for my WPN111 Netgear Wireless adapter. When I was finished following the guide the adapter light was blinking and I was able to connect to the internet just fine.
Hi,
I use Nova prime for some time, and I like it..
However, it now and then crashes. I don't know what the cause of the crashes is...
Since the last update there seem to be less crashes...
I made it a system app, and added an entry in build.prop so it stays in memory, but still the crashes are there.
5.0-18-generic from ubuntu 12.10 crashes regularly. The previous one did as well (3.5.0-17).
Hey all,
recently I've got this weird issue, and my laptop crashes when using my wifi or bluetooth to connect to the net.
I alway see that syslog message:
Code:

Jul 24 06:49:47 r5k kernel: [ 142.832052] scsi 4:0:1:0: Device offlined - not ready after error recovery
and here's some more log:

Hi All,
Would appreciate any help that you could provide to get an installation up and running.
I bought the above adapter as it was sold as being recognised out of the box (nope)
Comes with clear installation instructions that didn't work, given in a powerpoint file and separately as a text file with the driver.
Hi, I bought a wireless adapter for an upcoming Raspberry Pi and I thought I would try it out on my desktop first. The model is EDUP EP-N8508 and my research shows that it needs an rtl8192 driver.
I have a small PC booting CentOS 5.8 with kernel 2.6.18-164 from a CF card on a CF to SATA adapter. Boot time on this machine is cca 2 minutes, but with an updated kernel to 3.x it drops down to 80 secs. What is more, according to tests, it has 10 times bigger data rate transfer with this newer kernel!
I think that this is because of an older version of driver which handles SATA to CF adapter.
