How to get into Download Mode (For Odin) 1. Unplug the USB cable. 2. Shut down the phone. 3. Hold down the 'HOME' + 'VOLUME DOWN' buttons and press the 'POWER' button for about 2 seconds until a WARNING! Screen appears. Press the 'VOLUME UP' button to enter Download Mode. 2. Tick 'Auto Reboot' and 'F. Reset Time' in Odin and nothing else. 3. Download the boot image and load into Odin as a PDA. 4. Click on Start to flash (General)

this is my 2nd post here hope you guys can help me :(

my phone got stuck up on samung boot logo,after i re-flash the phone i tried to enter download mode by pressing q+power (no luck) when i press E+power phone went to emergeny download mode(wow) so i tried to connect my phone via cable and use odin, and odin detect the phone ..

Some general rules: It is not recommended to flash bootloaders on your device unless necessary. When flashing bootloaders, make sure the model number matches the device you are flashing. Also, always use a new cable without any wiggle room or cable damage.

Hi everyone,

I was on stock Gingerbread UCKE3.

I tried installing Speedmod kernel so that I could flash Cyanogenmod 9 using this method, however it didn't work and the phone was softbricked. Which was still alright, because I could still unbrick it every time with One-Click Unbrick.

So I decided to flash back to stock JF6 with Odin one-click, and it was stuck at sbl.bin for an hour.

Stuck in Odin mode 25 weeks 6 days ago

Tried searching a little bit but couldnt find anything. Everything was fine, rooted, unlocked bootloader. then went to go reboot into recovery to flash a rom but accidentally booted into odin mode.

screen says, volume up to continue, volume down to cancel(restart phone).

if i press volume down, it reboots to the same screen again.

any help?

My phone is stuck in Odin Mode and it gives a message that says that firmware upgrade encountered a problem and to connect it to Kies, I have tried holding the volume buttons at the same time as the power button to go into recovery mode but it doesn't work, it shows the samsung logo for less than a second and goes back to Odin Mode.

Does anyone know how ODIN Download Mode is stored on the device ? I'm having a problem and beleive it is in a partition or file that is corrupted that cannot be cleared or edited doing a ODIN download or flash from CWM, so for that matter if anyone knows about any such files please let me know... Thanx

1. I followed install custom made ROM step by step. 2. Installation was completed. 3. Now the phone when pressing down volume button + power button is stuck on Samsung Galaxy Ace GT-S5830i screen. 4. When pressing up volume button + power button I get to ODIN mode screen and stuck there. 5.

I have been using this forum for a long time and i just recently signed up because i need help with a step.
