Not sure my question's title is explicit, so I'll try and explain it the best I can.
I have a dedicated web hosting server running Linux (Gentoo). There are a couple websites hosted on it, and therefore a couple domain names from multiple providers have their DNS zone settings set to point to my server.
There is one particular website that used to be hosted on this server, but was then removed.
I'm trying to configure a server I purchased to rent in ISP Config and put 2 websites on it. I created a DNS zone first then the website with my details. But after doing both, the domain is still not configured properly and shows the company i purchased the domain from. Also i have tried creating a FTP user and access the server but i cannot connect to it.
I have one domain hosted on server domain.com, there are about 20 subdomains as addon domains there. For no good reason someone has changed (chgrp) on all files in domain.com directory to domain.com user now all websites are showing 403 forbidden access error. What should i do now to resume websites.
I have several sites hosted on a virtual server from a hosting company. All computers can access the site except our office since last week. IE status bar shows waiting for the site but then "internet explorer cannot display the webpage" error

1. telnet mysite.com 80 return with a blank screen and underscore prompt, which seems normal to me when I telnet other sites

I ma noob with servers. Don't know much about ti at all. I have VPS server with cPanel on it. Server is 8GB/Ultimate at GoDaddy. Now lately my website traffic is growing and running server into heavy load. usually is 3.00 or 4.00, but run into 40 the other day.
I order VPS hosting with Windows 2008 server and a dedicated IP Address , and install IIS 7.5 and DNS services on the server,I hosted 3 websites on the server, it works well, and I can use my domain to access my website, now I hope to use IP address to access my website, how can I configure IIS? I am looking into creating a local Domain Server to host roaming profiles. I created a domain controller but my clients cannot connect. Clients state they are unable to connect to selected domain.
Any ideas or where I can get started with setting up a local domain? It only about 25 accounts but I need it to expand to more later down the line.
i have a multiple websites domains like example1.com, example2.com, example3.com and so on, and there domain on different servers, some on same server and some on another server. If user go for expample1.com, empample2.com and so on... then user land on index.php which is common for all websites and using common database for all websites.
