I am unable to mount SD cards on my Acer Aspire One 756-2420 (running Crunchbang Waldorf). If I start the machine with the card in the slot, it mounts, but otherwise it won't detect it.I can automatically mount and unmount these cards on someone else's Ubuntu laptop, but not on this machine's internal card reader.lf I run lspci, this is what I find:04:00.1 SD Host controller: Broadco
My Garmin GPS device has a slot for an SD card. I'm using a 32 GB SD card which holds 22 GB data currently.
If I attach my device to a USB port it shows two devices, the internal memory and the SD card.
Hi all,
First time poster; be nice please :D
I've recently upgraded my HTC Velocity with the CM10 and AOKP mods and both have been working great.
Prior to this, I had the ICS ROM installed which was posted by Leigh Kennedy (if memory serves).
Anyway, the issue I'm having is with both of the JB ROMs above, the SD Card is not detectable at all.
OK so I had this phone for a month now and its been fine until one day it says I need to mount my memory card and I did but it will not recognize it and when I look at the storage data on the SD card it says there's 0 memory on it. But I checked and it still had all the memory on it. I used factory reset and it still didnt work.
On my FC 17 64 bit XFCE spin, the card reader doesn't work when an SDHC memory card is inserted.
My SD card is recognised by OS 11.3 if it is inserted at boot up. If I remove it and reinsert it, the devise monitor states 'no devices plugged in'. This is a problem that I have also had (and reported in these forums) with 11.0, 11.1, 11.2.
So I'm not sure what exactly I did, but I screwed up my SD card royaly!
I was trying to format it to work with Links2SD, but was being wonky about it, and somehow ended up messing up the SD card. Phone simply says "Removed SD Card: SD Card Removed. Insert a new one."
In Recovery (I have CWM v1.2518.4), if I go to mount sd card, I get "E:Can't mount /dev/block/mmcblk0..
I am having problem installing anything in to my Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 ,

I've replaced the default SD card with a new 16GB SD card, but i couldn't be able to install anything instead of lot of free space.
Any one no what is the issue ?
P.S: the SD card is working properly, i factory reset the device alre
I have a Kingston Micro SDHC card that I use in my E-reader, and I tried to put it in my Laptop to move some books onto it. It has mounted before but this time it didn't mount at all. In the terminal I typed tail -f /var/log/syslog and it recognised the SD card but it didn't mount it.
