I have a motherboard with an Intel ICH9R RAID chip. I have an existing RAID 5 setup over three disks which is NTFS formatted. I'm dual booting and I'd like to be able to access the RAID device in both Linux and Windows (and possibly OSX86, if I can ever get the darn thing to work).
I have just moved from a windows server 2012 r2 installation to a ubuntu installation. In my sever do i have 2 raids, one Raid 1 (2x1.5TB) and a raid 10 (4x2TB) both the raids have a NTFS pertition on them, ubuntu itself is installed on a 7'th hard disk a 120GB SSD.
I am having two problems, when ubuntu starts do it take a long time, and it gets some kind of time out.
