Unable to install .net 3.5 on Windows server 2012

http://serverfault.com – I am trying to install .Net 3.5 on Windows server 2012 and it constantly keeps failing. I am using "Add or remove features" and my internet is already there. I've read that if alternate source couldn't be found, the installer tries to download online and installs it from there. However, it's not working. This is the screenshot that I keep seeing: Please suggest what am I missing? Edit: I already tried using: dism.exe /online /enable-feature /featurename:NetFX3 /Source:D:\sources\sxs /all but I do not have the source disk with me. I want to download it online. (HowTos)

I am really struggling to get this installed. I have tried the suggestions here in an attempt to rectify any possible corruption. I mounted the disk image to 'G' to do an offline install. I also attempted an online install with similar results. Output as follows:

Now when I try to install it on Windows Server 2012, I get the following screenshot:

What the?? When will the microsoft learn?

Now this is a loop. When I try to install from Server Manager, I get installation cannot be done.

I have downloaded and installed Remote Server Administration Tools for Windows 8 on my Windows 8 Enterprise machine.

Online resources suggest installing RSAT should also install Server Manager GUI, but I am unable to find it.

Do I need to perform some additional steps to enable Server Manager?

I have tried researching this, but haven't come across any solutions.

We have a Hyper-V 3.0 Failover Cluster (2 servers) each running Windows Server 2012 RC. We have Shared Storage (HP P4300) which is reporting no errors and is working just fine as either a standalone disk or witness disk within the cluster.

Hello Everyone, I was wondering if someone could run the setting configuration by me to get my server online so that I can access it over the internet and not just local (LAN).

I have no internet on Ubuntu 12.04.1 so i'm on a desktop so I got to install a .exe program to run my wireless card for my desktop so I got internet access, But I can't seem to download wine or its source files. If I do I put on my usb and boot into Ubuntu but then when I try to open it I get the programs source files etc.

Everytime I try to install the Management GUI on Server Core I get this error.

The source files could not be downloaded. Use the "source" option to specify the location of the files that are required to restore the feature.

Hi all, I bought windows 8 online today (download) and I tried installing it. Everything seems to work alright but then when it finally finished installing, I got the Windows 8 style bluescreen, a reboot, then it rolled back to Windows 7 telling me it couldn't install.

I'm trying to Install with keeping all my files/data but it happened a second time. Any advice? What am I doing wrong?
