Unable to install CentOS in VirtualBox

http://unix.stackexchange.com – I am trying to install CentOS 5.6 in My VirtualBox but i got this error on boot screen. Your CPU Does not support long mode : use a 32 bit Distribution My CPU is 64 bit i checked that using uname -a command and the output is Linux localhost.localdomain 2.6.43.8-1.fc15.x86_64 #1 SMP Mon Jun 4 20:33:44 UTC 2012 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux As per my knowledge i need to enable 32 bit support to my VirtualBox but i don't from where i can enable that. If you have any idea regarding this then please suggest me. Thanks & Regards (HowTos)

I'm currently running VB 3.0.10 on Fedora 12 64 bit.

When I attempt to upgrade my current install to 3.1 I get the following:

I was attempting to install Fedora 18 Live Alpha x86_64 under VirtualBox. My machine rebooted! The computer, not VirtualBox.

Today I got the following error after running the Software Update. Confusing is these errors refer to fc15 and I am running fc17.

My Debian kernel is linux-image-2.6.32-5-amd64, and the command uname -m returns x86_64. However, apt-get do get i386 packages (those /var/cache/apt/archives/*_i386.deb), but never get amd64 package.

I want to install virtualbox, but neither -i386 nor -amd64 work for me.
