http://forums.opensuse.org – This prevents me from watching you tube videos in chrome. Although it works fine under firefox. :P getting this message "Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player." (Distributions)

Hello

Been having problems with flash, and I really need some help.

I have tried to uninstall and reinstall in yast no luck. uninistalled again.

I downloaded and installed Adobe Flash 10 rpm direct from adobe. I shut down firefox and then restarted...went to youtube.... no luck. I get the annoying error:

trying to setup flash in chrome 3 years 11 weeks ago

I've been trying to setup flash for google chrome in the 64 bit version of fedora. I used this guide to install the 32 bit version of flash.

Some body please help me. I'm using Ubuntu 10.04. Flash player worked well till last night. This morning when I turned on youtube it's showing "couldn't load plug-in" message.

Adobe have recently stopped updating their Flash distribution for Linux.

Adobe is no longer releasing new versions of Flash Player for Linux with version 11.2 being last release.

The only way to get latest Flash Player in Linux is to use Chrome, as Adobe has partnered with Google to distribute Flash player as a pre-installed plugin in Chrome.

I have recently upgraded to Ubuntu 12.04, and since then I am unable to view videos or anything flash related in my current browser. I use Firefox. I have tried all solutions that I have found, and even tried two different browsers, Opera and Chrome. I have tried flash aid and still no luck.

I have tried the instructions on the page http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/flash-player-google-chrome.html#m... to turn flash player on and I have restarted my browser and it still gives me this error. How do I get around this error?

“For Flash Player releases after 11.2, the Flash Player browser plugin for Linux will only be available via the “Pepper” API as part of the Google Chrome browser distribution and will no longer be available as a direct download from Adobe.
