Installed Citrix Receiver on Ubuntu.
Want to connect to Windows 2000 Server from firefox!
I got to login, it logs in, then it says
This version of Citrix XenApp web plugin does not support application or session roaming, called Workspace Control. To use this feature, install the latest version of the plugin.
I click continue.
I am new to Citrix and am thinking of proposing a Citrix solution for our home and remote office workers. My question is regarding deployment and licensing. To allow the clients to have remote application deployment via Citrix XenApp do we need to buy anything in addition to the Citrix XenApp and Windows Server 2008? Is there additional Citrix software/licensing that is required?
Hi!
I have a customer that runs Linux Redhat 5.5 Enterprise edition with ICAClient-11.100-1.
We have installed a standalone XenApp 6.5 server for publishing applications to the linux machine.
We need to use ICA files for launching the applications.
My problem is that i'm not able to get the ICA file assosicated with the Citrix plugin on the linux machine..
- When I start the ICA file it
I have zero experience with XenApp, so please forgive my totally noob question.
I have just installed XenApp 6.5 with rollup update 1 on 2008R2 server, and client can connect to XenApp just fine. The problem is that when they need to print something, they can't see their printer.
I don't want them to print on shared printer, since mostly they work from their home or wherever they are.

I have a XenApp 5 farm, running under Win2k8 server. Sometimes a user's session will "hang", and when they attempt to connect to CITRIX after that, they'll see the standard authentication error "your smart card is blocked".
If the user sees this on their Win7 desktop login, it means they have to go to an administrator to get their card un-blocked.
Hi everybody. First some background.
I am new user to fedora, but not to Linux. I am happy fith F11 so far except ICA problem and wine problems.
Problem 1
I'm building a new XenApp 6.5 Farm, which requires SQL 2008 R2 Express(which I've installed on a machine called vCitrixServices). I installed XenApp on vCitrix1 and started to creating a new farm, but I get this error trying to connect to our database.
DB server : vCitrixServices
I can connect using MS SQL Management Studio on the DB server using just the server name.
