There is probably something wrong with consolekit. How do you start X?OFF: Spacefm much better fm than pcmanfm.It automounts perfectly with udevil and in proces you will lose few dependencies such as udisks and gvfs.

the udev rule proposed on the wiki is, well, crap. you are not supposed to use udev rules to mount devices, there are not meant to be used for complex tasks like this.see also https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=143023

OK - so udev is mounting the devices with the 'mount' command, and then you're trying to umount them with udisks, via spacefm. That's why it's not working.That udev article has a set of rules using pmount - spacefm can also use pmount, so that might work better for you.
