[ubuntu_studio] Cinelerra Glitchy Issues

http://ubuntuforums.org – Hi, I'm using Cinelerra for the first time and I'm having problems. I'm doing simple drag-and-drops of clips (audio + video) and adding dissolve/crossfade transitions. My problem is that the transitions are incredibly glitchy. The audio is crackling, and repeating during the transition and sometimes the same audio glitch will happen in the next transition as well even though it's different audio that's playing at that transition. The video is jittery during transitions as well. Rendering audio and video separately doesn't help. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? All preferences a (Hardware)

Audio quality issues with mpd 41 weeks 9 hours ago

I have been using mpd for a long time now and absolutely love it. However, I recently added a few video files to the mpd database. Now I understand mpd won't play the video files, I don't want it to.

But when mpd plays the audio track of the video file, there is a lot of static noise in the output. My other audio files work perfectly with mpd.

Hi when i was on stock rom when i record a video with audio after 10min audio and video was not synched like 2 sec. i hear the sound first then i see the video or face mimics.

On a fresh install of Arch Linux, despite being an amateur at best. I'm using ATI HDMI audio using the open source driver, on GNOME 3.

Basically I have this Midiman M-Audio Fast Track MKII attached to my machine and when I play something the audio is "noisy". The strangest thing happens when I open the Sound Settings: the audio is playing correctly when the windows is open.

I hope someone can help me with this, I'm getting a little frustrated. I uploaded my videos to my PC. When played in Windows Media, the video is fine, but no audio. I read a post about playing the video in QuickTime, so I tried that and it played, but the video was green and the audio was all scratchy and muffled.
