When I minimize an open document I am working on in LibreOffice Writer, it disappears into the launcher panel. It does not show any little white arrow beside the LibreOffice writer icon. When I click it, it opens up a new document. I cannot get my original document back unless I do Super+W.
Does anyone have a fix, or is this a new bug? Running 12.04 LTS.
Hiya,
Earlier this week, after an update (I'm presuming it's an update for now since I didn't touch anything related to it), all of my office documents displayed in Nautilus display a preview of the contents of the document instead of the generic icon set.
I'm wondering if this happened to anyone else, or if I'm just crazy?
My LibreOffice icons for the individual apps are fine, they look great in both the launcher and the switcher. Yet, if I open the apps from the main LibreOffice program or if I open the document that I want to edit (And it opens its own "icon" as it always does), the icon is incredibly blurry.
I apologize if this is the wrong forum or a repost. I'm having a problem with the Unity launcher that seems to be specific to LibreOffice. I don't have LibreOffice "locked" to my launcher, because I prefer to use LaTex. However, several papers I'm collaborating on require me to use LibreOffice.
There is a problem with LibreOffice Calc (and sometimes gedit too) that when I open a file the minimize, maximize and close buttons in the upper right corner are not displayed.
Hi
When I have a libreoffice writer document open the icon does not appear in the launcher, nor does it appear in the 'alt tab' switcher list. Anyone else have this / know a solution? (Calc works fine FYI)
I've been having trouble with LibreOffice starting. I'm running Ubuntu 12.04, and I have two different user accounts on my computer. LibreOffice used to work fine, but for the past few days I can only use LibreOffice (calc, writer, or any of the programs) when logged in as one of the users. When I'm logged in on the other account if I click on the launcher icon it just blinks and does nothing.
Hi,
In the Alt+Tab list of currently running app icons a hi-res version of an app icon is only displayed if the app has an associated .desktop file (which specifies the icon, say, "icon-name").
The older/general way of setting the icon:
PHP Code:
myWindow->set_icon(Gtk::IconTheme::get_default()->load_icon("icon-name",
Hello there!i think i cant really help you, because i have the same problem with some of my apps and it seem nearly impossible to find out where the icon tint uses is comming from.I wanted to change several icons showed in the taskbar and sometimes it was helpful to change the icon inside the .desktop-file, sometimes i replaced the icons in the icon folder of /usr/share/applications/DESIEREDAPP an
