[ubuntu] Writing a generic disk image to a micro SD card

view story

http://ubuntuforums.org – Hello, I'd like to be able to write to a micro SD card via a USB reader. The only option I've found so far for doing so is win32diskimager, which I've been unable to make work (any version) via Wine. This I need to do in order to write a generic disk image to the micro SD card in order to install to it the software necessary to root my Nook Color 1.4.3. with CyanogenMod. Is there a native Ubuntu program that would allow me to do this? (By the way, Ubuntu has no problem 'seeing' the USB micro SD card reader.) Any advice would be greatly appreciated. (Hardware)
