So, I've been reading everywhere here about sizes and different classes. What I'm most interested in is, how fast can the Galaxy S3 write to the sd card, better put the max write speed to the micro sd card? I want the fastest card available, but only if the phone will use it at max speed. Hope someone can give me an answer so I can order one tonight.
thanks for your help
Good day ladies and gents,
I recently bought a KingMax 32GB micro SD card for my Samsung Note 10.1.
Life was happy and good until yesterday when I forgot to unmount the micro SD card from the Note 10.1 before removing the said micro SD card.
Now, neither my laptop nor my Note will even recognize that the said micro SD is inserted.
I'm running Precise on an HP G62-367dx that is stock other than an upgrade from 4 to 8 GB memory about a week ago.
I finally received my Raspberry pi and am trying to load the operating system on the SD card. I'm pretty sure the card reader worked before, though I won't swear to it, but I seem to recall using it. Now, nothing.
I'm running 12.04.2, and I've got an Alcor Micro Corp. Flash Card Reader/Writer (usb ID 058f:6362). Occasionally, I'll have a flash card fail, or get messed up, and the card will go "read only". The problem is that the reader seems to go read-only, because all subsequent cards plugged into the reader are now marked read-only as well.
I have a toshiba qosmio with an internal SD card reader. When I put an SD card in, it does not mount the card. I did lspci and I believe I see the SD card reader listed as:
07:00.1 SD Host controller: O2 Micro, Inc. Device 8120 (rev 01)
I did a few searches for answers, and it seems this is a semi-common problem.
I would like to learn how to rip DVD movies to a micro SDHC card so I can watch them on my Nook tablet. Has anyone done this? Is there a DVD catalyst type program for ubuntu? Thank you
I'm trying to dd an .img file over to my micro sd (8 GB). The rom (.img) is 2.66 GB, but in my output of DD (live) it says its transfered 9 GB. I don't get how it's turning a 2 GB image into 9 GB. I'm running OSX Lion and using a Belkin card read. The card reader is not the problem, I have used disk utility with it with no problem.
I have a Samsung Micro Sd Card SD HC 8Gb. I've had it in my phone (Htc Evo 4g) for a while now but one day it said I have no Sd Card inside. I took out the battery reinserted it inside but no luck. Then I checked on a computer and when I click on Removable Disk, its says, "Please insert a disk into Removable Disk (E.
I have also tried this method (make use of.
I am using V30B Pure Repack by N00B and just bought a new micro sd card of kingston 16GB class 10.
I put the card into the phone, then connect the phone to PC via USB. I use mass storage mode. Then when I start copying file from PC to my phone, the speed only is 2MB/s write.
I wonder if it is a bad card.
I also did a benchmark and still got about 2MB/s write. I googled and had no clue.
