Ubuntu won't run properly on my i3 3.3GHz

http://askubuntu.com – I have newly assembled desktop (Intel i3 3.3GHz, Gigabyte MB H61M-DS2 and 4Gb-RAM). When booting from USB and selecting "Try Ubuntu w/o installing" it won't boot-up properly, it only display the logo and my monitor keep on turn-on/off until it goes on standby mode. Second scenario, when booting up from USB and selecting the "Install Ubuntu", it will open the installation process but will display some pixilize graphics in all my desktop and this hinders me from reading the installing instruction. Has anyone encountered this problem? Is there a compatibility issues on intel H61 chipset? (HowTos)
