[ubuntu] WNA3100 Wireless Adapter issues

http://ubuntuforums.org – So I installed a partition on my computer that has Ubuntu, but there's a big issue. My NetGear wireless internet adapter (WNA3100) doesn't work. I was using this guide here: http://matthew-4gl.wikispaces.com/wna3100_ubuntu_linux and it worked up until I typed the command sudo make install. I don't know what went wrong, but it said Error twice, numbered respectively. Please note this is using ndiswrapper 1.57, the most recent stable version. I looked through the guide, and one of the sections gave the version 1.56. So here's my question. 1. Would the different version make such a huge differ (Hardware)

Hi, After googling around, I followed some of the steps I'd seen in this forum to get the usb adapter working.

lsusb Bus 001 Device 004: ID 0846:9020 NetGear, Inc. WNA3100(v1) Wireless-N 300 [Broadcom BCM43231]

I have standard 11.10 that I upgraded, arch is i686

I downloaded ndiswrapper using the Ubuntu Software Center.

Hello all, I am in a predicament getting Ubuntu to recognize my USB wireless adapter. When I entered "lsusb" I got the following:

Bus 002 Device 002: ID 0846:9020 NetGear, Inc. WNA3100(v1) Wireless-N 300 [Broadcom BCM43231]

Of course, this was for the one particular hardware.

I'm dual clienting windows vista and ubuntu 11.10, and i have it set to where i can choose which i use at startup. Now the problem i'm having is that i use and external usb wireless adapter and i can't figure out how to either install the program that runs it or even make ubuntu find it.

I installed Ubuntu 9.10 on my desktop computer yesterday and I followed this guide to install the drivers for my WPN111 Netgear Wireless adapter. When I was finished following the guide the adapter light was blinking and I was able to connect to the internet just fine.

I've installed Ubuntu 12.04 on a Dell Optiplex 210L. The tower has no wifi card and because of my living situation (landlord provides internet, but router is located in his apartment) I have to connect to the internet via wifi. I got a Netgear WNA3100 wireless USB adapter, v1. I installed ndiswrapper 1.57 and the Broadcom bcm43xx USB 32 bit v2.

ndiswrapper -l brings up autorun:invalid driver bcmn43xx64:driver installed device (0846:9020) present

is this wireless adapter working correctly as iwlist scan just says lo interface doesnt suppor

I have a Netgear WNDA3100 wireless adapter I'm trying to install on Lubuntu 12.10. I have followed the instructions here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1806839 I've tried the video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DNR0Wvg1k5I None worked. The adapter can't scan any wireless routers nearby.

Ok my dell's internal wifi card works fine, but i bought a usb adapter to obtain a stronger signal but i cant seem to get it to work and ditch my internal all togather, it has the proper drivers.
