I have a Dell 1210 (mini-12) that originally ran Ubuntu 8.04+LTS.
Broadcom BCM4312 802.11b/g LP-PHY wireless internet adapter.
I have installed Ubuntu 10.10 to try to solve the following problem,
but the problem still occurs.
The computer easily connects to wireless routers without passwords.
If there is a password, however, it comes up
"Authentication required by wireless network."
