I see from the forums archives that many users have wireless issues. Mine relates to a new installation of Ubuntu. I had tried to upgrade to 12 from 11, but that locked my machine up (HP laptop running an IntelPentium processor and 500mb of RAM).
Now I have Ubuntu 12 running I cant use wireless. There's a hardware switch which wont enable wireless.
When I use the hotspot feature on my phone It doesn't seem to work at all with my window7 but when I boot into Ubuntu it works flawlessly (my sig comes from speeds posted with my hotspot) does anyone else have this issue, or a fix to it? well its not that I need it to be fixed (Ubuntu is amazing) just would be good to know incase I do need to fix it.
Hello again!I am running Waldorf on an eMachines eM350, dual booting with Windows 7. I have these problems:Bluetooth starts on boot even after disabling it in rcconf, and the indicator light does not turn off.
Kind of a weird intermittent problem. When I boot up my wireless is disabled according to the network manager. I have to disable my wireless using the switch on my laptop (dell latitude e6400), reboot, login and then enable the wireless using the switch on the laptop in order to get the wireless enabled again.
