Hi,
I installed Ubuntu and I cant get my wireless connection to work. I found that I need ndiswrapper to update my drivers following the sticky post in here. However there is a problem, because I cant successfully run ndiswrapper on my system.
Please help.
Ubuntu 9.10, IBM ThinkPad T-40, what am I doing wrong?
I installed ubuntu 12.04 LTS server on an old PC.
This PC has a wireless card (Netgear wg311v3).
This computer now has no access to Internet so whatever I do I transfer it from another PC.
I tried to install a driver for Windows with the help of ndiswrapper but with no success.
What I did is that I downloaded the source file of ndiswrapper from here and tried to compile it as instructed from here
Hi,
I'm trying to install ndiswrapper and get:
[chrispche@localhost ndiswrapper-1.55]$ make uninstall
which: no loadndisdriver in (/usr/lib/qt-3.3/bin:/usr/kerberos/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/sbin:/sbin:/home/chrispche/bin)
For some reason, when I try to install the driver for my wireless card (and it matches the card, the driver is made by the same company that makes a specific driver for it), however, for some reason I get an error message when trying to install the driver.
Hi,

Hello,
I am trying to install windows wireless drivers using ndiswrapper to have better connectivity around my house(I can only currently get online in certain rooms, very restricted).
I have ndiswrapper installed OK, but I am a bit lost on the step where I have to browse to my windows wireless driver(a .inf file I believe), my question is how do I know where this is?
I am trying to install the correct LAN card drivers on openSuse 12.1.
