I am getting 30% packet loss, 0% packet loss and 100% packet at times to the AP. And a lot of times dropping the connection all together. It seems to have started right after latest kernel update on Kubuntu 11.10.
I recently got a new router (D-link DIR-615E3), and installed dd-wrt on it.
i know this question has been asked a million times, but it seems everyone is having separate problems, I've read through a bunch of "slow wifi problems" but didnt want to jump into the terminal and start entering random codes
So, im running Ubuntu 11.10 along windows 7, on a dell 1647 with a Netgear n600 wireless, and as you have guessed, the wifi is running at extremely slow speeds.
Hello,
Please help me because I'm stuck.
I am using Fedora 16 on my notebook Fujitsu A6025.
Sorry I really don't like to make new thread but I am under ubuntu since a few weeks ago and since then I've been unable to solve my wireless problem . Everytime time I run some intense networking like DL and streaming my wireless crash or if I give enough time it crash as well my only option is to reboot my computer. I've been trying a bunch of different solutions to no avail. Please Help .
Ubuntu 10.04 can not detect my wireless connection.
I don't know anything about this subject.
I am using :
Linux lucas05-desktop 2.6.32-23-generic #37-Ubuntu SMP Fri Jun 11 07:54:58 UTC 2010 i686 GNU/Linux
lucas@lucas05-desktop:~$ iwconfig

Hey guys i'm trying to use the airodump-ng but it is saying the following,
bstrawt@pan:~$ sudo airodump-ng mon0
Interface mon0:
ioctl(SIOCGIFINDEX) failed: No such device
instead of me having a wlan0 it says i have a eth1 as an adapter. I am using wifi from my laptop and confused why it is saying i have eth rather than wlan.
