[ubuntu] Wireless Card will not work in Vista

http://ubuntuforums.org – I installed a copy of Ubuntu on a separate partition. However when I select Ubuntu and it loads, I can't not get my wireless card to work. I have an HP Pavillion dv9000 and I am aware that have a particular driver for the wireless card that they use for this model. It has crashed before and I have had to reboot/reinstall software and manually plug into my router to get online and download a particular driver to get back online. Does anyone out there know how to help me with this? If I could get online with Ubuntu then I would do further research and practice and see if Ubuntu is going to work for me. Please help if you can! Thanks! * Dark_Stang - hey, thanks for the information regarding my wireless card for my hppavillion dv9000. I could not get the ethernet cable to work while plugged into my router, but your instructions worked for activating the wireless card. Thanks, bolly24 (Hardware)
