[ubuntu] Wired connection not working-Ubuntu 10.04

http://ubuntuforums.org – Hi. I am a complete newbie to Ubuntu. I installed Ubuntu 10.04 on my Dell 1564. My cabled network connection is not working. Ubuntu has been dual booted with Windows 7. Internet connection on Windows is working. I have an ADSL modem connected to my laptop via the cable. [ubuntu] Web cam not detected 1 year 16 weeks ago

I have a problem concerning web cam in my laptop. After installing Ubuntu 11.10 everything is working like a charm after having made a few tweaks, apart from the built in web cam. The cam is not detected by either Cheese, Camorama or Skype.

hello there, i installed ubuntu alongside windows 7 on my Dell XPS 1647. after installation i noticed the wifi in 11.10 is extremely slow, ive been all over the internet and cant figure it out, please help, thanks in advance!

How do I get drivers installed without internet access?

After changing from Windows 7 I am unable to connect to my router wirelessly, however I can connect fine with a wired connection. After trying to connect I am asked every several minutes for wireless authentication.
