FluxBox window manager is really simple window manager even the configuration for it really easy and you can do more to get the best performance and better looking desktop using a lightweight desktop and that what FluxBox can give.
I'm using Google Chrome on Ubuntu12.04. Whenever I go to the Chrome webstore to install an extension, I think it opens a window right under the Chrome Window and I'm unable to access it. So, I cannot install any extension on Google Chrome in Ubuntu.
Anyone else has seen this? How do I check if there is a window under the browser window?
Following installation of Ubuntu 12.04 over a previous install of 10.04, I have found odd behaviour in the Fluxbox windows manager. If I 'tab' two windows together (as one can in Fluxbox) I cannot change focus from one tabbed window to another using the mouse. To focus on the other window I have to use the alt-tab method with the keyboard.
I'm running Ubuntu 13.10, but after I clicked install and entered my password, the window changes or resizes to a small bar window. I can only minimize and close, but can't resize it or do anything else about it.The window only reappear 100% after it finished the update apparently.
i have the following problem and i primarily want to have a way how to analyse this.
My problem is that somehow Ubuntu keeps locking me in a certain window/editor. i can then
not switch to another one using the mouse or Keyboard. I can however close the window,
giving the focus to another window.
