I am running Ubuntu 11.10 on my Pandaboard ES. I attempted to playback a 720p / 1080p video. In both cases, the videos were highly jittery and the audio seemed to be plagued with something that seemed to be white noise (sounds like white noise, but it definitely is not white noise). I was using VLC media player for playback and was running XFCE4 as the desktop ewnvironment.
I'm currently running 13.04 (I try to extend the little help I can by submitting bug reports) and the video is extremely choppy and pix-elated on any video program I run (vlc, mplayer, totem etc.), any flash or html5 videos, and HD videos won't play in a reasonable way at all (entire frames get skipped and video footage is completely distorted; I would say it's about 10 FPS on HD videos, really ex
All video players are showing videos, local video files in many different formats (flv, webm, ogg, 3gp, mp4), in negative/inverted colors. The same videos are displayed ok by firefox with some exceptions.
Just started having this problem. I record a video and i go to play it back and i get a message of "video cannot be played" then after a while the video shows up as a white square with a play sign on it on my video screen as seen in the picture

Hi all,
Just wanted to ask if this common or is it just me.
Whenever I watch youtube video on fullscreen, and when it have something white on it, as soon as get back on youtube browse (app itself goes back), area with comments and related videos is somehow bloory white, too bright. I noticed the same thing ehen I just press home in middle of video.
I have installed Ubuntu 12.04 on my Lenovo machine, having 1.5 GB of RAM and a wide screeen LCD Dell monitor (I think videos have a 16:9 aspect ratio).
The problem is I am not able to see videos in VLC or Totem movie players.
I'm able to listen to sound, but videos are not displayed.
SMPlayer is working well to display video.
Could anyone please explain to me how to play videos in other media
See if you can reproduce this bug that I experienced on 2 Nexus 4 16GB handsets. I discovered this when looking at a picture that was taken in almost complete darkness (without flash) in landscape orientation.
Take a picture in complete - or almost complete - darkness. Is there a white vertical line that is on the left and/or right side of the picture?
Hey folks,
I have a strange problem with the YouTube application where I cannot get preloading to work. Essentially, I am simply checking the "Preloading subscriptions" and "Preload watch later" under the "Preloading" menu in the Settings. I understand it will download my videos once I am connected to WiFi and charging.
