Ubuntu 12.04.
I have downloaded a few songs (And they are legal, before you say they were a virus.) and they came in a zipped folder. When the Archive Manger opens, I click on a song, and RhythmBox starts playing that song, and the 'Notify OSD' appears. But whenever I get rid of the Archive Manager the song stops, and the song vanishes from the playing list.
I can't get any music player to recognise any new songs. I put on some music, default player recognises them. come back a day later, put new songs on, wont recognise them. there all .mp3's , old and new songs. i just drag all songs into sd card main folder, worked until recently. tried installing kies, wont see them.
My wife runs an Ubuntu desktop that we use Rhythmbox to listen to music with. I run the latest Opensuse on a netbook that I listen to music at work with. I run KDE, but I use Banshee because I prefer its interface to Amarok. It was trouble getting Mp3 to work, and I still havn't gotten to work on Amarok.
Hi I have been using Xperia RAY for quite some time now..

I am using a context menu for my textview.I made setCheckable() property as true for every menu items. When i click on first menu item it is checked but menu is disappearing. Is it possible to check more than one item in a context menu?
I have a Media Player runnning in a background service. MP3 files are setn ovewr TCP from a server on my desktop. When debugging the app the songs are sent and received. The seleciton of songs is structured over three activities.
Album list (list view) activity takes you to a song list (list view) activity.
you select songs by selecting a checkbox and on selection clicking a play button.

I recently installed Rhythm Box 2.97 on my Ubuntu 12.10. When I play songs and then close it using the x symbol on the title bar, the application closes but songs continue to be played in the background, but when I use the quit option from File menu, songs stop playing and the application closes.
Is it possible to display a right-click menu using a shell script (or some kind of Unix command?) I'm trying to find a program that can be used to display a context menu at a specific location on the screen.
For example, it would be useful to display the desktop right-click context menu programmatically (the one that appears when right-clicking on a file.) This would require some method of launch
