I have system with Pentium D dual core processor. Recently my conky & system monitor showing that only one processor core is working instead of two. Is this normal software problem or wrong Bios setting ? or my second core processor is not working? Is it possible for system with dual processor to work even if one of two processor get damaged?
Which Ubuntu 12.10 image do I need to download for installation on a computer with an AMD 2650e processor. The version for most Intel/AMD x86 based computers will not work. There is something unique about this processor. If there is no Ubuntu 12.10 yet available for my needs, could you tell me which alternate download of Ubuntu 12.04 I need. Thanks in advance. P.A.
