Just wondering if anyone else has this issue....
As long as I`m on the mobile network, my Gmail doesn`t notify me of any new emails. I have downloaded updates for the gmail account, rebooted the phone, I made sure the Sync Gmail account is on, background data is on, sound is on, notification for every new email is on.... what am I missing????

This is my first android phone, SPrint Galaxy Note 2. My Google Account thus the play store email address is not associated with any gmail email, and I do have a few gmail accounts I want to put in to the stock gmail app. Problem is when I try to start the stock gmail app, it wants to automatically attach to my Google Account email.
Can I delete the app and re-install?
I belong to some email groups on groups.yahoo.com. Every time you send a message to the group, everyone on the group list receives it. Therefore, when I send a message to group, everyone, including me, should get it.
However, my Gmail is displaying everyone's messages except mine. I see all of their messages in my inbox, but my messages to the group never arrive.
So I've been having a great time with my note 2 from my S3 and adjusting to the size. After being thoroughly impressed with the Spen, completely love being able to add a drawing or script right into the body of an email. Only thing is that I can do it from my pop mail accunt and yahoo, but unbelievably I can't seem to do it from gmail.
Hi, I have all my email accounts, including Gmail, combined in the standard email client. My Gmail client is also receiving the same emails and I want to stop this from happening. Getting all my email in the one place is great and saves time. Can the Gmail standalone client be uninstalled or disabled in some way?

Hey guys wanted to see if anyone had a solution or if this was also happening to you. Before yahoo mail app last few updates I would always get my email notification. After the updates I don't I have to go into the app manually and check. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and reset my phone completely and still no luck.

' another email address as alias ' for their Gmail accounts - talking here about public Gmail not Google Apps - and they may use Gmail server not their domain servers as SMTP with the ' Treat as an 'alias' setting '.
I am using a .bat file to create a user and password at windows operating system level.
The issue am facing is when i pass EXPIRES:NEVER for password, when the user is created, it doesn't have "Password never expires" checkbox checked (meaning the password never expires is selected for that created user) and the user expires automatically after 90 days.
