Looking at the specs on the international version. One thing that is included is a FM radio.
I read that for the original note the fm radio was taken out for the u.s. version.
Do yall think the note 2 will have the same fate?
Obviously not a make or break feature but a cool thing none the less
Thanks yall. First post here
A robust internet radio station streamer for Ubuntu and Fedora based Linux distributions. It connects to web sites offering radio streaming and lets you play radio stations directly from that locations. With Great Little Radio Player, you will have collection of 300 radio stations worldwide.
Indeed this phone has FM radio. I'm rooted but I don't know if you need root actually. Spirit FM on xda works great. If you like it there's a better version in the play store
I'm putting together an emergency kit at home and one thing I'm missing is an emergency radio. I'm wondering, since the DX has an FM radio app, can that be used as an emergency radio? It certainly has its advantage with the bells and whistles in it (compass, map).
The key question is, the FM app is not an internet radio, but a real radio based on an FM receiver hardware, is that correct?
A couple of days back I rooted my wildfire and installed CM7. Everything worked like a charm except for a GPS.
I managed to find the Radio.img version ending in 19.25 which is needed to make GPS work and flashed it over fastboot after installing the Android SDK on my linux machine.
It works and locks to the gps. I'm now going to test it out extensively in the wild and go on a hike.
Has anyone been able to play a radio.com radio station? I cannot locate a "stream" in this URL:
http://player.radio.com/player/RadioPlayer.php?version=1.2.13935&station...
Hello everyone,
I already have this problem for over a year but never did something about it (I don't know why). But now I wan't to fix the problem.
The problem is my Radio app. I always use the standerd android radio app that is auto-installed because for other apps you need internet.
