Marco Ghirlanda has announced a couple of days ago, on September 23rd, that the ArtistX 1.3 Linux distribution is available for download.
ArtistX 1.3 is based on the popular Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) operating system and is powered by Linux kernel 3.0.0.

I just installed a frech copy of Ubuntu 12.04 on my vps because my old installation was very slow, unfortunately this did not fix the problem.
With slow I mean requests for my PHP websites take a long time, very slow (30 sec per request) to slow (3+ sec per request).

Issue: I'd like to download large files from a http service that I pay for (Easynews). Dolphin/Chrome will let me download the files just fine, but speeds are quite low and I'd like to find a Download Manager app that uses multiple connections for faster speeds.
