I'm using a DVD to download Ubuntu but it keeps saying there isn't a readable disk to download onto. What am I doing wrong?? I have Ubuntu on my computer but when I insert the DVD it won't record. Any advice is appreciated.
I recently downloaded the ISO for Ubuntu 12.10 and tried to burn the ISO image to a CD but the disk image is too big for a standard 700 Mb CD-R. I tried to burn the ISO image to a DVD but I kept getting a wrong disk error message.
With Windows XP ending support next Tuesday, I was scrapped for time to find another replacement OS. I was told to install a Linux-based operating system as a replacement and I decided to try this version out.
im trying to download Ubuntu OS for the first time and im trying to burn the IOS on a USB but every time that i try to burn it i get this Error: Error: Unable to remount volume. You may have to use the mountvol.exe command to make your device accessible.
i have no idea what that means, if anybody could help me out it will be greatly appreciated!
