Any help with this problem would be much appreciated.
My work station involves a Sager laptop on my left and a Cintiq on the right. When I go into displays to account for this, the tablet functions seem to only apply to the far left of the Cintiq and the rest of the laptop monitor (after having calibrated the Cintiq).
I was looking at ordering an extra stylus before my Note comes in, was wondering if anyone tried the Wacom yet. I use a Wacom Intuos tablet, and like their stuff, but didn't know if it was any better than say the pen with the eraser (the other one I was looking at). Wish Wacom had done an eraser since plan on using PS Touch a lot (I'm assuming the other pens eraser works in that?).
Just got a new Fujitsu T902 and everything works out of the box with latest Precise except for the pen (stylus).
lsusb returns
Bus 001 Device 004: ID 056a:0101 Wacom Co., Ltd
but all of the following return nothing
fgrep -i wacom /var/log/Xorg.0.log
xsetwacom --list devices
xinput | grep -i wacom
Any ideas where to start?
Thanks.
I have a Motion Computing m1400 tablet with 9.10 karmic installed and using LXDE. I have also installed the wacom drivers and 'wacdump -f tpc /dev/ttyS0' shows proper recognition of the stylus, touch and button click. But moving the stylus has no effect on my pointer. I tried to follow the various wacom threads but am really lost.
Personally, I think the stylus is awesome. Fortunately for those of you that agree with me, Samsung thinks so, too. And considering the amount of marketing power Samsung has invested in their Note brand, it’s pretty easy to see why they just bought 5% of Wacom, the manufacturer of the Note’s S-Pen.
Hello, I still use 10.04, because I can only get certain scientific programs to run on Lucid.
If you’re a graphics professional, you know Wacom. The company consistently puts out the best in digital art tablets, and over the past year has announced and released a variety of improvements to its top-end Cintiq gear.
Hi, i don't know if i can help or not. But i just bought the CTH-470(M) today and have it working in Archlinux. As far as packages relating to Wacom, i am using the xf86-input-wacom-git, libwacom, wacom-utility and wacom-udev packages in the AUR.
Hi I recently starteds using Ubuntu. I can't get my Aiptek 14000U tablet to work correctly. When I put my pen on the tablet the click doesn't work. So, I can move the cursor around the screen but I can't click anything.
