http://ubuntuforums.org – Hey, Just got a brand new Wacom Bamboo and Ubuntu kinda got me down. As always we have the incredible argument that linux is simply better than Windows. The intallation of the Bamboo should have been simple. Can't seem to get it working thought. So; kernel: Code: 2.6.32-37-generic-pae Ubuntu 10.04.3 LTS. Added the repository and installed what was asked: Code: sudo add-apt-repository ppa:doctormo/wacom-plus sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get dist-upgrade sudo apt-get install wacom-dkms Still not working. Tried a few other tutorials, all the same. Code: xsetwacom (Hardware)

Wacom Bamboo stops working 10 weeks 2 days ago

Hello fellow archers,I have a Bamboo Pen CTH470 and it works fine for a while until it stops working for no reason.

so i have used ubuntu on my netbook i bought broke for a little over two years and never had a problem, though that has netbook remix on it.

i recently decided to dump windows and go ubuntu lucid on my main machine.

Hi, i don't know if i can help or not. But i just bought the CTH-470(M) today and have it working in Archlinux.As far as packages relating to Wacom,  i am using the xf86-input-wacom-git, libwacom, wacom-utility and wacom-udev packages in the AUR.

I decided to write here because I was wondering if there are any Wacom Bamboo (MTE-450) tablet users who experience any resume problems with their tablets on 11.3. I experience this issue on 11.2 - tablet was not working after resume from suspending to RAM - I had to replug it in order to make it work. Now when I upgraded to 11.3, the issue was still there.

This thread is the development thread for the Wacom Bamboo Pen and Touch series tablets. We are trying to develop the patches to submit to the linuxwacom source.

Hi everyone, i bought an grafiktablett, the Bamboo MTE-450A, and now wanted to getting it working on ubuntu 9.10, i plugged in the tablet, but still no reaction from the system.

if i type in terminal : "lsusb"

What are the technical differences between Wacom Bamboo series and Wacom Bamboo One series? :popcorn:

xsetwacom --list dev is empty on Ubuntu 10.04 64-bit with doctormo's wacom-plus PPA.

The device otherwise appears to work fine and I can find the devices via brute force:

for i in {1..50}; do sudo xsetwacom --get $i all; done

but this still doesn't tell me which device is which.

Update: Not working fine actually. The cursor position doesn't update after pressing down and then lifting.
