Hi all,
I am using Ubuntu 12.04 with Gnome 3.4.. My problem is that, the events i add in evolution (version 3.2.3) calendar (Both google and local) doesnot show upon gnome shell calendar situated in the top panel... what should i do? My default calendar app is evolution, i checked... please help me...
Does anyone know how I can get my contacts birthdays to show in my calendar?
When I go into calendar and click on calendars to be displayed, the contacts birthdays calendar is checked but does not appear in my calendar.
The only way I am able to show the contacts birthdays is if I go to calendar and calendar storage in apps and clear the data
My Ubuntu PC and my Gnome calendar are both set to a correct timezone (Australia, Sydney). The default email/calendar client is Evolution, which is set to use the system timezone. The Network time slider shows ON. However, the notifications about my Google calendar appointments show up about 10-11 hours later. I cannot blame Google for that, since email reminders arrive on time.
Hi all
Nice to be here.
I have Evolution syncing with my Google Calendar, which is working perfectly. However, this calendar's events do not show when I click the time on the top panel in Gnome 3, it shows an empty calendar and agenda.
Is there anyway to select my Google Calendar as the one to show here please?
Many thanks in advance :C

Hi there,I have been trying to sync evolution with google calendar for the last couple of days (not full time, though ).
After having trouble once again with Thunderbird+Lightning after yesterday's updates, I decided to give Evolution a try. I'm liking it so far, but I have the following issue: all the events in my Google calendar which are set as recurrent (say every year, like a birthday) are not showing in my Evolution calendar.
I have the same Google calendar app for my Verizon Nexus and the just purchased Galaxy Note 10.1 Tablet. The apps and contacts synced over. But the calendar app on my Note remains empty. It has none of the appointments and events I put on the Nexus calendar. How do I sync them so what I do to one calendar appears on the other?
Being new to the Android world having come from the Windows Mobile environment I am perplexed to see how I can display my calendar details from my work's MS Exchange server. I have the emails and contacts working fine but all the Apps and Wiggits I have seen so far don't seem to work for the calendar.
